*Why I Paint Birds*

I once prayed, “Lord, what should I paint?” And I felt Him answer through Matthew 6:26: *“Look at the birds of the air...”* That verse landed deep in my heart. Birds reminded me that God provides—not just for them, but for us too.

I love painting birds because, like people, no two are the same. Some are loud, some quiet. Some bold, others hidden. Yet all are known by God. Aren’t we the same?

Birds are free. They fly between heaven and earth—what a beautiful metaphor for us as spiritual beings! They’re delicate, beautiful, and their song always feels like a hymn of praise from the Creator to us.

Sometimes I wonder: Are we living fully in the freedom God offers? Do we hear His song in our hearts?

Birds became, for me, a symbol of hope, fragility, freedom, and divine care. And that’s why I paint them.

Many greetings Pamela
